With the building originally housing 15 stalls, today only 10 exist. We are driven to restore the building to its original condition with an open floor plan. This would allow for a state of the art locomotive service station allowing us to utilize heavy crane equipment to move these massive locomotive engines and parts.
Stabilization of roundhouse stalls 6 through 10 was performed a few years ago along with roof repairs to stalls 6 through 8. We are in the process of seeking funding that will enable us to rebuild the brick wall of stall 10, complete the roof repairs, run piping and wiring and prep for the installation of the EPA approved locomotive sized paint booth that was donated by General Electric.
