2Realm Paranormal Research and Santiago Cirillo co-sponsored a unique event at the Historic B&O Roundhouse in September. The event opened Friday September 23rd with closed live stream paranormal investigations and continued on Saturday the 24th and Sunday the 25th with daytime and evening events that were open to the public. Stall 3 of the roundhouse was lined along both sides of the track by celebrity and vendor tables. There were talks by celebrities and food trucks in the parking lot. Saturday evening was a part of National Ghost Hunting Day with paranormal investigations taking place in “The Death Car”, the roundhouse and the warehouse. Sunday evening featured a world premier screening of a new documentary followed by an acoustic concert in stall 3.
Proceeds from the Paracon will benefit the restoration of roundhouse stalls 6 through 10.
Tresa Muncy and Sabrina Marie of 2Realm paranormal
Tresa and Sabrina approached MRPS about hosting the Paracon last year. After deciding on the dates, they worked tirelessly to make the necessary arrangements, book the celebrities, vendors and food trucks. They also organized and participated in the social media livestreams on Friday and the National Ghost Hunt Day paranormal investigations on Saturday.
Santiago Cirilo
Co-sponsor Santiago Cirilo appeared as Julio on the TV series The Walking Dead. Originally from Lorain, Ohio he now resides in Nashville. Santiago participated in the paranormal investigations on Friday and Saturday. His table was a popular destination for the attendees and MRPS volunteers as well.
Stall 3 of the roundhouse
Situated between GTW 4070 in stall 4 and Reading 2100 in stall 2, stall 3 was lined on both sides of the track by celebrity and vendor tables, and was the location for the stage and screen used for Sunday’s world premier documentary screening and acoustic concert. Originally planned for stalls 6 and 7 of the roundhouse, the stage was moved to stall 3 due to the forecast calling for rain on Sunday.
